Cognition & Co is hosting a networking and information sessi on for psychology students in Johannesburg. We have lined up a number of p rofessionals from the psychological fields to inspire\, encourage and supp ort psychology students of any level.
Every year\, hundre ds of students apply for spaces in coursework masters programmes around th e country\; unfortunately these spaces are limited and only a handful of s tudents are given the opportunity to continue their journey and become Psy chologists. This process is extremely stressful on the students and there is little individual feedback from the universities.
Cogn ition & Co\, with the help of a number of guest speakers\, would like to k eep students motivated on this difficult journey\, as well as show student s what alternatives are available to them that may help their applications in the future.
We will be covering topics such as master s applications and interviews\, volunteering\, alternative means of studyi ng and working\, opportunities abroad\, networking\, mentorship\, and prep aring for the future.
