Curro Midrand will host the Gauteng Provincial Cross-Country Championships on Saturday\, 12 September\, in partnership with Gauteng Sc hools Athletics (GSA). More than 2\,800 athletes from 15 education distric ts across the province will compete for coveted spots on Team Gauteng ahea d of the SASA National Cross-Country Championships\, scheduled for 3 Octob er 2026 at Curro Midrand in Gauteng. A total of 120 athletes across variou s age categories will be selected to represent Gauteng at the national lev el\, making this one of the most significant school sport events on the pr ovincial calendar.
