These sessions aim to SAVE THE HUMAN VOICE which is the essential instrument within the sound of jazz, we hope to raise funds with just a minimum donation of R10 to keep jazz alive.
Jazz On The Square a fresh breed of entrepreneurs in partnership with The Department Of Sports, Arts & Culture have put together a raw fresh event that will be re- introducing the genre of Jazz music in an ultra – modern style to the South African market.
Jazz on the square is a three part series happening online. We kick off our first unplugged session (1Hour) on the 9th August with Lindiwe Maxolo, 30th August with Asanda Bam and the 13th September with Sylvester Mazinyane.
The core mission behind these sessions is not only to raise awareness during this pandemic but to keep an ongoing initiative SAVE THE HUMAN VOICE; an initiative that will help sustain our musicians and practitioners in the entertainment industry by raising funds with the aim to KEEP JAZZ ALIVE.
Jazz On The Square bridges the young and old generation by educating on the history and evolution of the genre. The mandate is to facilitate new solutions on how to advance our country through the Arts and Culture to better the economy of South Africa.
The tickets are R60 with a donation of R10 that will go straight to the artists NB: Purchase the (Loyalty) package pass and increase your chances to win a unique experience with the new VW T-Roc.
