 d the Marakele National Park are proud to host the 12th annual Marakele Ma
 rathon on 7 March 2020. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="background-c
 olor: rgb(255\, 255\, 255)\; color: rgb(28\, 30\, 33)\;">The race starts a
 nd finishes at the Marakele National Park main gate and is an official Com
 rades marathon and 2 Oceans marathon qualifying race. The route will lead 
 runners on an adventure through the park which is habitat to all of the Bi
 g 5 as well as the second largest (800 breeding pairs) Cape Vulture colony
  in the world. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb
 (255\, 255\, 255)\; color: rgb(28\, 30\, 33)\;">Marakele rangers and SANPa
 rks Honorary rangers will be present along the route to keep runners safe
