 ?' Cape Town Tour.</p><p>It's been over 2 ½ yrs since Joburg's indie rock
  superstars\, SHORTSTRAW\, last performed live in Cape Town. They're back 
 with a brand new album and will be performing in the heart of the city at 
 DISTRICT (Harrington's\, Surfa Rosa) supported by some of Cape Town's fine
 st musicians and DJ's on Friday 1<sup>st</sup> April 2022. </p><p>The ba
 nd have rightfully earned themselves a place as one of the biggest musical
  acts in South Africa\, with some of the most loyal fans a band could ask 
 for. So come and spend a rocking night out with good music and good friend
 s!</p><p>But book soon because tickets are limited!</p><p>Shortstraw won B
 EST INDIE at the 2013 MK Awards for the music video for One Long Day\, and
  at the 2014 MK Awards picked up BEST ALBUM for Good Morning\, Sunshine an
 d BEST VIDEO for Waterworks. Shortstraw was nominated for BEST ALTERNATIVE
  at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards. The band's album Youthless debuted a
 t #1 on the South African iTunes Chart.</p><p>Shortstraw has also had the 
 incredible opportunity to have toured with a number of great international
  bands both in South Africa and abroad\, including PIXIES (US)\, The Kooks
  (UK)\, The Jungle Giants (AUS)\, Bombay Bicycle Club (UK)\, Last Dinosaur
