Join for a specially curated Women’s Day p rogramme as we embrace the spirit and beauty of the women of South Africa\ , the backbone of our society. This gathering is intended to create moment s of meaning\, honour and celebration on Women’s Day.

Join renowned authors and speake rs\, Lindelwa Skenjana and Lwando Xaso in a conversation themed around the celebration of women\, unpacking the important work they do\, sharing the ir journeys\, challenges and success as professional women and authors.

We then invite you to continue the conversation over a slow Harvest Table Brunch\, mindfully and lovingly prepared using fresh p roduce sourced from our surrounding gardens.

Lwando Xaso is a consti tutional lawyer\, writer and speaker. Her career highlights include:

Pr actising law at Norton Rose Fulbright and ENS
Clerking at the Constitutional Court fo r Justice Edwin Cameron\;
Obtaining her LLM in administrative and constitutional law fr om UCT and her LLM in International law from the University of Notre Dame\ ;
Contributin g to the book ‘One Law One Nation\, a book on the history of the South A frican Constitution\; and
Working as a senior researcher for former Chief Justice Ngc obo following his retirement from the Constitutional Court.

She frequently writes on constitutional law\, history and cult ure topics for the Daily Maverick and various other publications.

She is the founder and owner of Including Society – a for um established to explore\, and provide content and experiences on issues at the intersection of law\, politics\, history\, pop culture and personal development. She is also the author of "Made in South Africa: A Black Wom an's Stories of Rage\, Resistance and Progress" which was released in Octo ber 2020. She also works with the Constitution Hill Trust\, focusing prima rily on developing the forthcoming Museum of the Constitution. She is also a trustee of the Constitutional Court Trust. A mother\, an author\, a speaker\, founder of Indima Yam\, a mentorship and young professionals training platform…amo ngst being a professional in financial services for over a decade.

Lindelwa holds a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Manchester\, an Honours degree from Vega Brand Communication School and a Bachelor's in Social Sciences from the University of Cape To wn\, and several marketing certificates from GIBS UCT and the University o f Stellenbosch.

A “2019 Mail & Guardian Top 200 youn g people to look out for” recipient in 2021\, Lindelwa published “The Black Girl’s Guide to Corporate South Africa”\, a memoir-cum-guide on the journey of navigating the corporate South Africa landscape. The debut book has been acknowledged by Takealot\, Exclusives Books Homebru (2021) a nd featured in the top 10 books in Q1 of 2022.
