CHAPTER ONE
Every fable needs a table, and every table needs a trickster.
fable opens the first chapter of a new supper club experience on the corner of Bree and Wale.
One room. One sitting. Three courses. Three cocktails. One story that unfolds around you.
At the centre of it all is The Trickster, your host for the evening.
Part narrator, part troublemaker, she arrives with the first course and never quite leaves. She introduces each plate, provokes the room between courses, and turns what would have been dinner into something closer to theatre.
You don't watch the show from your table.
Your table is in it.
THE THREE COURSES
Juniper-Cured Line Fish, Pickled Apple & Tomato Foam
The opening.
Gin's own botanical, set and served cold. A first course that feels fresh, unexpected and just a little deceptive.
Bright, sharp and playful, it's the Trickster's first lie of the evening, and the one that tells you exactly what kind of night this is.
Paired with Cultivar
Gin, green apple, ginger, celery, black pepper & lemon.
Lamb, Sweet Potato Espuma, Brussels Sprouts, Charred Onion & Jus
The turn.
The room stops performing and starts eating.
Char, smoke and something deeply savoury underneath it all. The weight in the middle of the story, and perhaps the course you'll still be talking about at the bar later.
Paired with Del Cabo
Whiskey, Pinotage, cassis, rooibos & lemon.
Sweet Melon Panna Cotta, Honey & Ginger Tuile
The ending. Or something like one.
The opening returns, sweeter this time.
Same shape, same tuile, different truth. The trick is revealed just as the evening begins to shift.
Paired with Melon Cream
Vodka, sweet melon, kaffir lime leaf, cream & lime.
Each course and cocktail pairing has been created specifically for this chapter.
Designed to move together, course by course, drink by drink.
THE EVENING
Doors open at 17:00, with your welcome drink waiting on arrival.
All guests must be seated by 18:45.
The experience begins at 19:00 sharp.
Dinner, drinks and entertainment unfold together from 19:00 until 22:00, with the room moving through the evening as one story.
From 22:00 until 00:00, the DJ takes over.
The dining room becomes something else entirely.
BOOKING
Tables are sold as complete bookings, so once you're seated, your place is yours for the entire evening.

A reserved table for four.

Six seats. One table. One story.
THE GALLERY
General access to the evening, including standing access, the welcome drink, the show and the bar.
Every seated ticket includes a welcome drink, the full three-course dining experience and three cocktail pairings.
The Gallery ticket includes access to the welcome drink, entertainment and bar experience.
LIMITED TABLES AND SEATS AVAILABLE
The room is intentionally small.
Once a table is booked, it's gone.
And as with every good story, there's no guarantee when the next chapter will be told.
