We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Madiba's birthday.
On Thursday the 18th of July is Nelson Mandela day. This day is about giving back and helping those out in need. It is for this reason that all money made on entrance for this event as well as a percentage of turnover will be given to St Anne's Homes for abused women and children.
St Anne's Homes is a Non-Government Organization under the patronage of the Archbishop of the Church of the Province of South Africa. There are fourteen staff members and a Management board elected because of their ability, involvement and positive contribution. They are situated in Woodstock and offer services to abused, destitute and pregnant mothers and their young children throughout South Africa.
We will be creating a Back A Buddy account for St Anne's Homes and hope to raise more money over and above the R80 for the tickets for #DanceForMadiba.
This event is made possible by La Bottega Restaurant, Woodstock, Sunday Sessions, New Era Live and Audio One - Sound Rental.
It is co-hosted by this incredible line-up who are all willing to contribute there 67 minutes to make this possible.
