We are planning to donate more than 5000 Toys to a local orphanage at THE WEST RAND JUNK FOOD FESTIVAL We aim to make a real difference by collecting toys for a local orphanage. Our goal is ambitious - over 5000 brand new toys! The West Rand Junk Food Festival is a 1-day event.
Doors open at 14:00pm until 23h00PM. Main Stage headliners generally end around 11 PM.
There will be programming and various forms of entertainment throughout each day.
Parking:
1 Day parking available
Entry:
To ensure we process all attendees as quickly as possible and make every effort to maintain the safety of all patrons, we have established the following policies:
Security:
Entry into venue is controlled by security, and all persons are subject to the following:
All entrants must have a valid admission ticket for ENTRY to the Sunday Session
All VIP entrants must be wearing a valid event wristband for ENTRY to the VIP section of Sunday Session
There will be a variety of food stalls and drink options available on-site to meet many dietary needs. Stay tuned for a list of vendors!
All entrants are subject to pat down and a bag search upon entering the entertainment area.
The Unspoken Words Movement reserves the right to search all persons and property to ensure the security of all in attendance.

DO NOT tamper, stretch, cut or alter your wristband in any way. Altered wristbands will be invalid and the bearer will be subject to eviction from the festival grounds.
Wristbands cannot be shared.
Everyone is required to keep their admission ticket for the duration of the event.
No persons will be allowed to enter any portion of the grounds without a ticket. This policy will be strictly enforced – trespassers will be evicted and/or prosecuted.
Do not purchase tickets or wristbands from 3rd parties – only items purchased through Howler are valid tickets
ENTERTAINMENT AREA:
Venue/Promoter is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. It is recommended that you not bring valuable items.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES:
We want everyone at The West Rand Junk Food Festival to have a good time. To achieve this goal, we need everyone to be respectful of everyone around them, including – but not limited to – abiding by the following rules:
Any person found to be in possession of a weapon will be immediately evicted from the event without refund, and subject to a criminal investigation.
ABSOLUTELY NO fighting, threatening behaviour or inciting of hatred. Any person(s) found committing any of those behaviours to other festival attendees or festival staff will be evicted from the event without refund.
SMOKING:
Smoking is Limited Smoking Areas will be available
PHOTOGRAPHY:
Recording, taping or photographing shows with a Professional Camera is strictly prohibited as it violates the copyright/taping policies of the artists. If this event is cancelled, rescheduled or curtailed, Event Protect will provide a simple and fast refund process. You can apply directly to Event Protect for a refund. Provided the event has been accepted and is covered by the Programme, which is underwritten by "A" rated insurers, your application will be managed through Event Protect. Please note communicable diseases such as the COVID-19 Virus is not covered by this Policy.
