Mark your calendars for Saturday, 21 February 2026—the Auto&General Xtri is back at the breathtaking Steyn City! Get ready for a racing experience that’s anything but ordinary, set against world-class trails and facilities that Steyn City is famous for.
We’ve put together race distances that are fun and accessible, but still give the pros something to sweat about. The swim kicks things off in the calm, crystal-clear waters of the Lagoon—perfect for first-timers dipping their toes into triathlon. Then it’s onto the bike and run, winding through Steyn City’s tree-lined trails and rolling hills. It’s a mix of flow, challenge, and scenery that’ll leave you grinning (and probably a little out of breath).
The Auto&General Xtri once again partners with Triathlon SA to host the 2026 South African Cross Triathlon Championship. That means you’ll be sharing the course with some of SA’s top cross-triathletes.
With incredible facilities, epic vibes, and a race atmosphere like no other, this is one event you’ll seriously regret missing.
