16th ANNUAL CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR AWARDS RULES & REGULATIONS:
All delegates are responsilble for reading these terms and conditions.
Invitations, or letters will not gain your guests access to the venue or the registration area. Only a valid VIP ticket will gain access to the awards registration area.
Please ensure that all your guests have recieved their VIP tickets prior to the awards taking place. They will be unable to collect VIP tickets at the venue.
Those VIP tickets will be issued to you two weeks before the awards ceremony.
Accreditation details will be discussed in more detail at a later stage.
MOBILE TELEPHONE:
You are kindly requested to turn your mobile phone in silence during the awards ceremony.
SECURITY:
Identification Document
Please note that SACA is classified by the naional police minister as a national key point event, ensure each delegate has a valid form of ID Book or card, South African drivers license or passport to be scanned.
For security purposes we request that you wear your VIP pass at all times. Furthermore, please be advised that only once we recieve the signed table booking form and proof of payment will your table be confirmed
Tables at the SACA ceremony are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
ACCESSIBILTY REQUIREMENTS
It is the responsinilty of delegates to inform the awards and ceremonies team of any accesibilty requirements for both themselves and their guests so that such requirements can be appropriately accomodated. Delegates should contact the awards and ceremonies team as soon as possible.
SACA DRESS CODE:
Delegates attending SACA awards ceremony are required to dress in acordance with the dress code of SACA. Delegates who's clothes are considered unsuitable may be excluded from the ceremony
LATE ARRIVAL!!!
All guests must be seated in the venue 30 minutes prior to the start time of the ceremony. Entry cannot be guaranteed after this time.
In the event that a guest arrives late for the SACA ceremony all efforts will be made to offer the guest the opportunity to attend and we are unable to guarantee who will be seated with.
FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY
The SACA ceremonies are professionally filmed, broadcast live on the web and shown on other live streaming channels with the footage made available for download after the ceremonies. By registering to take part in the SACA ceremony, delegates are confirming that they and their guests have given permission for their image to be recorded.
Other professional photography and videography takes place on venue which may be used for SACAs marketing purposes. If guests do not wish to be featured, they should let the photographers / videographers know on the day.
Winners will be issued with one award or certificate only. In the event that a award or certificate is lost, damaged or stolen, a replacement can be issued, at a charge of R5000. The original award or certificate will be cancelled and the replacement award or certificate will state that it is a replacement.
Replacement award or certificates will be issued in response to notification of a change of company name will be issued free of charge, provided to the awards and ceremonies team. Where an original certificate is lost or stolen, the standard charge of R5000 will apply.
DATA PROTECTION
The awards and ceremonies team will operate in accordance with the POPI Act ( Protection of personal information ACT 4 of 2013 of South Africa).
The awards and ceremonies team will no discuss personal information with a third party (whether via telephone or email) without express written permission from the delegate we reserve the right to ask individuals security questions in order to confirm identity.
Contact and address details provided when registering for SACA will be provided externally to the courier company for the sole purpose of arranging delivery of Awards or cerificates and to provided delegates with tracking details via email once shipment is booked, where delegates with tracking details via email once the shipment is booked where delegates choose to receive delivery of their or Awards certificate by courier.
Details of companies and/ or guest accessible seating requiremens provided wih registering for ceremony will be shared with SACA staff assisting with seating on graduaton day.
At the end of each ceremony, rolling credits will show on screen, listing the company names. The same rolling credits will be included in highlight footage of each ceremony. Where permissionfor inclusion is provided when registering for ceremony, company names will be shared with an approved events company for the sole purpose of producing content related to SACA ceremony.
The SACA shop may produce commemorative t-shirt/ sweatshirt including company names only. Where permission for inclusion is provided when registering for ceremony, a list of company names will be provided to SACA for print for the sole purpose of printing graduation apparel for sale by SACA retail.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES (Force Majeure)
SACA may cancel, delay or postpone it's awards ceremony for a given period due to circumstances beyond it's control and under which the ceremonies can no longer reasonably, or safely be expected to take place. Such circumstances may include (though are not limited to): fire, flood, explosion or any incident that renders the venue in which the Awards ceremony is due to be held unsafe to use, terrorists act (or threat of a terrorist act): natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic of national mourning.
SACA cannot be held liable for any losses direct or otherwise incurred by guests, if the SACA ceremony is cancelled, delayed, or postponed as a result of any unforeseen circumstances .
Any changes to the SACA ceremony schedule as brought about by unforeseen circumstances will be communicated to attending guests via email and advertised clearly on the SACA's website.
