JBay Winterfest: Now in its seventh edition, the JBay Winterfest 2019 is locked and loaded, and ready to go with a number of different sporting events and disciplines. The anchor event for the JBay Winterfest is the Corona Open JBay, a World Surf League Champion Tour event for both men and women. Defending champions are Brazilian talent Filipe Toledo in the men’s event, and seven times world champion Stephanie Gilmore from Australia in the women’s event. The JBay Winterfest also includes a stage-event trail run, the Endurade JBay X Trail Run, consisting of three stages of 20 km run over two days. There is also the Fishing Skins Tournament, the Bowls Tournament, the Funduro Moto X, and the Vibe In The Park free music sessions at the Supertubes Park with some of the top bands and singers in the country performing in the evenings.
