Timeless Festival and Cape Town Pride in association with The Death Of Glitter are proud to announce their partnership, presenting a club night at Club Paradise, Cape Town on February 17th and a stage curated by D.O.G at Timeless, March 10-12 in Elandskloof. The meeting of these brands promises to bring cutting-edge club sounds and queer performance from the underground to the fore, with a number of South Africa’s most prominent underground DJs and drag artists appearing on the lineup. In addition, Timeless and D.O.G will appear together at the official Cape Town Pride Mardi Gras on March 4th, providing a taste of what audiences can expect at the festival on the Pride main stage at the A-Track in Green Point, Cape Town. At the PRIDE x TIMELESS x D.O.G club night, party-goers can expect to catch a vibrant lineup:
Headliners
► DAS KAPITAL - As one of the biggest DJs in South Africa Das Kapital also continues to headline festivals and club nights across the country, bringing a party vibe allied with his excellent technical skills. His brilliant DJ sets, crowd-reading ability and infectious energy ensure that nobody is left unmoved. Headline sets at Namibian, Zimbabwean and UK festivals have brought these skills to an international audience. Oppikoppi, Rocking The Daisies, Grietfest, Sonar Cape Town, Splashy Fen, Boat Race, Mad Decent Block Party, Synergy and Ultra South Africa have all seen the devastation that his skills can cause locally.
► KDOLLAHZ - Like the mysteries of the universe, KDOLLAHZ is a work-in-progress, continually revealing new depths and layers to his cultural and personal expression in a way that keeps drawing people into his world. In 2019, the DJ-cum-internet-sensation-cum-cultural-figurehead turned up on Angel-Ho’s “Pose”, played a blowout set at Rocking the Daisies and continued to deliver the live sets that have seen him become a consistent feature of South Africa’s music line-ups.

► QUEEZY - Queezy (b. 1992, Cape Town) is a multidisciplinary artist bridging the intersections of fine art, fashion, and performance. From printmaking and videography to drag performances and DJ sets, QUEEZY creates immersive worlds, where fantasy meets the radical subversion of the status quo. At once theatrical and personal, Heneke’s works up bend and expand what it means to be queer and coloured in South Africa, subverting constructions of masculinity, sexuality, and corporeality. Salient themes of gendered norms and identity politics are met with craftsmanship and authenticity, generating artworks which are as aesthetically engaging as they are socially engaged. Ultimately, Queezy aims to create interactive experiences where normativity gives way to spaces for protest, empowerment, and celebration.
► ANGEL-HO - Angel-Ho is a Musician & Creative Director from South Africa Cape Town. Angel places contemporary social issues in performance, drag, and a digital space whereby they deconstruct the powers of oppression. In other words, diving into the fantasy of reality of being a feminine gender non-conforming queer African body with the capacity to critique the history we create as a society.
► PHIJOS - Phijos is the catch-all alias of Philippus Johan, who hails from Cape Town, South Africa. Confident in the comically broad music taste he’s developed through initiatives he’s helped set up over the years (including The Other Radio, The Other Records, SWIM and Search Festival), he mashes up Club, Bass, Italo, Jungle, Rnb, Breaks and Techno into one very energetic cocktail. Don't worry about the ingredients, worry about the garnish: a sleazy and euphoric wedge of queerness to smack your lips on. Nothing is sacred! He's performed either as Phijos or with The Other DJs at a wide gamut of events and clubs, including SPECTRUM, Modular, Mouth2Mouth Festival, Cape Town Electronic Music Festival, Smalltown Beat, The Death of Glitter and Search Festival.

► YVONNE ME - Yvonne Me, taller than you, is a queer Durban-born DJ and live artist currently living in Cape Town. They're drawn to sounds, narrative and groove as a practice of self-narration and storytelling. Their preferred genres include Afrobeats, Deep House, Electronic, House and other alternative healing sounds.
► DAMAGE - Release your inhibitions with DAMAGE as she invokes a rhythmic spell on the dancefloor with her fast-paced frequencies. This is your opportunity to get REAL down and dirty with an hour of sweat, headbanging, and irresistible grooves!
► EETSLEEP - EatSleep looks at chaos with a smile: the most satisfying musical experiences are those that evoke a witch cackle of equal parts joy and fever. Happy Hardcore; Digicore; Giggling at the Rave; Sweat!
