Learn how to hand-roast coffee at home, using standard kitchen equipment. This method of home-roasting was inspired by traditional Ethiopian practices, still used today. When we first started our coffee journey 10 years ago, we did not have access to a roaster. After much research, trial and error, we discovered a simple way to roast coffee at home. This is by no means a replacement method, but rather an easily accessible alternative for roasting small batch green beans for sampling purposes.
