Rockdown Sessions - Zebra

They are back in black (and white)!

ZEBRA is a Pretoria-based band, who is self-described as the wayward love-child of comedic rock and indie music! The herd, as they’re so affectionately known, weave a fantastic story with their original songs and catchy lyrics, all the while making everyone in the house dance.

Wim & Siphe were in the bar together and started singing to "Little Lion Man" by Mumford & sons. They realised they harmonised amazingly together and decided to start a band!

They performed at the Open Mic Night at Aandklas Hatfield and ZEBRA was formed!

Wim then wrote a song about a girl, which happened to be New York. They performed it and crowds reaction was great! They started writing a ton of music and then Ivan and Duncan joined to create a fresh vibe and great sound.
