16–18 October 2026 | Cradle of Humankind
A three day gathering at the beginning of our future.
Main Festival Day: 17 October 2026
There is a place where we remember. Where rhythm becomes language, and the earth beneath us becomes our shared pulse. ORIGIN Festival 2026 is not simply an event—it is a return.
This October, in the sacred landscape of the Cradle of Humankind, we gather in music, ceremony, creativity and collective action to honour what connects us across lands, cultures and generations.
As part of a worldwide gathering taking place simultaneously across continents, communities and homes, ORIGIN South Africa joins millions of people participating in an unprecedented moment of global connection. At the heart of the experience is a synchronized Global Moment of Unity—a collective pause led by Indigenous elders across the world, rising into a shared Global Anthem of Unity.
Come as you are. Leave as part of something greater.
Experience powerful performances from some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists:
TRESOR
Bongeziwe Mabandla
Buhlebendalo
Tubatsi Mpho Moloi
Sibusile Xaba
More artists and special guests to be announced
