Donations received through the REN Walk support our mission to raise awareness and stand up for children affected by trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. Funds raised will be used to: • Support vetted non-profit organisations working directly with vulnerable and exploited children, including our founding partner, Lantern Rescue • Fund awareness initiatives and community outreach programs led through the REN Walk movement • Cover essential event and operational costs required to host and expand REN Walks across South Africa and globally • Build and grow The Robello Effect’s initiatives, including our community hub and studio, which will serve as a base for education, awareness, and outreach The REN Walk is part of a growing global movement where children stand up for other children. As we expand, donations will help us reach more communities, support more organisations, and increase our impact worldwide.
REN Walk Ballito – Children Standing Up for Children.
Join us for the first REN Walk in Ballito, a powerful, child-led community walk launched by The Robello Effect (TRE) — a global non-profit and creative collective founded by Sgt. Chris Robello and L.A Motzouris.
Built around one simple message:
Children standing up for children.
REN stands for Remember Every Name — a mission dedicated to raising awareness around child trafficking, exploitation, and the protection of children in our communities and around the world.
This walk is more than just an event.
It is the beginning of a global movement, starting right here in Ballito, where children, families, schools, and communities come together to stand in unity and say:
Every child matters. Every name matters.
Led by children and supported by the community, the REN Walk creates a space for awareness, connection, and action — reminding us all of our role in protecting and uplifting the next generation.
Through The Robello Effect, this movement will expand across South Africa, Africa, and globally, with the goal of uniting communities worldwide and ultimately completing the journey in the United States of America.
Funds raised through the REN Walk will support vetted non-profit organisations, including our founding partner Lantern Rescue, as well as help grow the REN movement and its outreach initiatives.
Whether you walk for awareness, for your children, or for those whose voices are not heard —
you are part of something meaningful.
