LeKgotla la boNtate draws on the Setswana tradition of Le Kgotla - An age-old traditional consultative gathering for communities and elders. Used to dissect community challenges, reach consensus and restore harmony
On 14 November 2026, we bring the conversation to Rustenburg.
As young men leave their villages in pursuit of opportunity, what happens to the culture, wisdom and relationships they leave behind? Who becomes the custodian of our heritage when one generation passes the baton to the next? And how do we re-define fatherhood, brotherhood and responsible manhood in a changing society?
Expect a culturally immersive experience featuring community leadership, cultural performance, thought-provoking panel conversations, open audience participation and an opportunity to build meaningful connections.
It is an invitation to preserve what grounds us, examine what shapes us and collectively influence the story of the South African man
