Curro Midrand will host the Gauteng Provincial Cross-Country Championships on Saturday, 12 September, in partnership with Gauteng Schools Athletics (GSA). More than 2,800 athletes from 15 education districts across the province will compete for coveted spots on Team Gauteng ahead of the SASA National Cross-Country Championships, scheduled for 3 October 2026 at Curro Midrand in Gauteng. A total of 120 athletes across various age categories will be selected to represent Gauteng at the national level, making this one of the most significant school sport events on the provincial calendar.

Alcohol is prohibited. No braai stands or gas allowed.
